How it works

How olow works.

1

Get tested.

Visit a partner clinic or order an at-home kit. Same panel either way.

2

Get verified.

Your testing is confirmed straight from the lab or partner clinic. olow turns it into a verified credential — signed, timestamped, and lab-issued. Not a screenshot. Not a self-report.

3

Send your credential with a private link, a QR code, or a vanity URL. Revoke access anytime. You decide who sees what.

The panel

What we test for.

One panel. No tiers. The same eight STIs every olow credential covers — whether you tested at a partner clinic or used the at-home kit.

The olow panel
8 STIs · 13 assays
  • HIV (1/2 Ag/Ab + HIV PCR)
  • Hepatitis B
  • Hepatitis C
  • Syphilis
  • Trichomoniasis
  • Mycoplasma genitalium (MGen)
  • Chlamydia (3-site: genital, rectal, throat)
  • Gonorrhea (3-site: genital, rectal, throat)

We don't test for HSV-2. The FDA cautions against routine HSV-2 screening due to high false-positive rates. We follow that guidance.

Who it's for

olow is for grown-ups.

Whoever you are, whoever you're with — sexual health is a habit, not an event. Test regularly. Share confidently. Repeat.

Four adults at a cafe table laughing together over drinks.

Built for adults having sex.

Whoever you sleep with. However many. Whether it’s casual, complicated, committed, open, queer, straight, or something the categories haven’t quite caught up to — olow doesn’t differentiate. The panel is the panel and the credential means the same thing whether you met them last week, last year, or last night.

We didn’t design olow around the relationship template public health was built for. We designed it for the actual one — where partners change, where retests matter, where adults treat each other like adults. Verified status, current and portable, yours to share with whoever you choose, on your terms.

Built for hookups, partners, and everything between
Two men lying in bed together, looking at a phone.

For the partner you trust most.

Long-term partners still test. Not because of suspicion — because most STIs are silent, vaccines wear off, and your last test isn’t current forever.

A shared verified status is just a quiet confirmation: we’re both clear, today, on record.

Set retest reminders for both partners

For the date that’s getting serious.

There’s a moment, somewhere between the third and fifth date, when "should we get tested?" gets harder to bring up — and more important to.

Sending a verified link is faster than a conversation. Asking for one back is fair.

Share with a private password-protected link

For the new connection.

First time with someone new is when verification matters most — and is most awkward to ask for. olow makes it transactional in the best way: tap, send, done.

Your link expires when your retest does. No old screenshots. No outdated proof.

For the relationship you’re building.

Newly exclusive? Stopping condoms? olow gives you a clean handoff — both partners verify, set a shared retest cadence, and move on without keeping a mental ledger.

Sexual health stops being a question and becomes a setting.

Common questions

The honest answers. More on our about page and in the user guide.

Who can see my test results?

Only you, by default. olow stores your verified status — your full lab results stay private and never appear in a share. When you generate a share link or QR code for a partner, they see only what you choose: that you’re verified and tested within your retest window. No specific results, no history. You control every share, set a password or PIN, and revoke access anytime. Dating apps, employers, and insurance never see olow data.

How is olow different from a screenshot of test results?

A screenshot can be edited or borrowed from someone else. An olow share can’t — every link is gated by your active, lab-verified credential, and you control what each partner sees: just verified status, or specific details if you choose. Revoke any share the moment you want. Generate as many new shares as you need. Screenshots ask your partner to trust you. olow gives them something to trust.

How much does olow cost?

Free to start. You sign up, take the health quiz, and get an account at no cost. olow Premium adds vanity URLs, view tracking, and custom expiration for $4.99/month or $39.99/year. At-home kits are $229 and cover one panel — eight STIs across thirteen assays, no tiered upsell. No credit card required to sign up.
